Sol Fitness Equine: A Rider Fitness Workshop

  • Saxony Farm 469 Browns Mill Road Lexington, Kentucky, 40511 United States (map)

Your horse feels everything you bring to the saddle. Strength, balance, and energy included.

Whether you ride professionally or for the love of it, what you carry in your body shapes every move your horse makes. Your core holds your position, your hips absorb the motion, your back keeps you strong and steady. Train them and your horse feels the difference.

This 90-minute workshop is fitness and education in one evening. You'll learn which muscles do the work in the saddle, how each of these muscles impacts your horse, and how you can transform your ride with intentional training.
We'll cover breath and nervous system regulation as part of that work, because a settled rider is a steadier rider.
Then we’ll move through a guided baseline test, followed by a full workout designed just for riders.

Led by Sunny Bayne, horse lover, horse trainer, Master Certified Personal Trainer, yoga instructor, and co-founder of Sol Fitness.

Hosted at Saxony Farm.

MEET YOUR COACH

Sunny Bayne - Master CPT, RYT-200, Horse Trainer + Lifelong Rider

Sunny has spent her life studying how bodies move, both human and horse. She started riding at ten, spent years as an exercise rider galloping racehorses across the country, and earned her equine degree from the North American Racing Academy, where she later returned to teach.

In 2004, a serious riding injury put her in a wheelchair. Learning to move again in her own body is what led her to coaching, and it shapes everything about how she teaches today. Sunny is a Master Certified Personal Trainer, RYT-200 yoga instructor, and co-founder of Sol Fitness and Sol Academy, with over a decade of coaching experience. Today she trains both people and horses, and her work centers on body awareness and connection: helping riders feel what's happening in their own bodies, so they and their horses can become better movers together.
