This June, we're diving into Assessments in Action, led by Casey Bayne, Director of Education at Sol Academy.
Knowing what to prescribe starts with knowing what you're working with. In this session, you'll learn how to evaluate clients with confidence: how to conduct meaningful baseline check-ins, identify movement patterns, and use assessment findings to build programming that actually meets people where they are.
We'll break down:
How to conduct client assessments using NASM protocols and pain-free movement methods
Baseline check-ins: what to look for, what to ask, and what the answers tell you
How to identify movement compensations and what they mean for programming
Applying assessment findings to build smarter, safer, more personalized training plans
The difference between gathering data and knowing what to do with it
This is about learning to see your clients clearly before you ever write a single exercise. Assessment is not a formality. It is the foundation of great coaching.
As with all Sol Academy Pro Series classes, this session is intentionally designed to be hands-on, conversational, and rooted in real-world coaching scenarios, supporting your growth as a confident, informed fitness professional.
